Drop Camp
For hunters who want to access the back country, but without the hassle of carrying all their gear “backpack style”. Let our string of top notch long ears pack all your gear, food and, supplies, etc. into one of the 4 drainages in GMU 231. This area is located in and around the Flat Tops Wildness area, home of largest migrating elk herd in the country. Spend your energy hunting, not being a mule.
We Provide:
Pack mules and an experienced, professional packer to haul all of your gear into camp (all locations are within reasonable distance of drinking water sources).
You Provide:
Your own food, water purification systems, gear, tags/licenses etc. We will pack you into camp the day before your hunt begins. You will hunt for 5 full days, packing out the day after your hunt ends.
We will also provide all parties with one (1) Garmin InReach satellite GPS, which allows for communication with the outside world via text message and contact us for the purposes of extracting your harvest (additional fee). At the end of your hunt, our packer and mule string will come get your gear and pack it back to your truck. This is a one of a kind service in the area that will allow you to get into remote areas of the backcountry not accessible by four wheelers and road hunters.
